Job description
The Drug Testing Coordinator works in implementing collection, accountability, and transport of drug testing samples. This individual is trained and knowledgeable in all aspects of urinalysis collection and accountability processes. This position requires the ability to work independently with little to no direct supervision.
**Salary will be determined depending on qualifications of candidates who exceed the minimum requirements as outlined within the job description.

Maintains client records and demographics.
Attains and maintains knowledge in all aspects of urinalysis collection and accountability processes.
Observes collection of urine samples assuring proper procedures and "chain of custody" are followed.
Works with referring agencies in securing sample collections for testing.
Maintains database of collections, transports, and other records and statistical information as directed.
Prepares any required documentation or information for courts and relevant interested parties.
Maintains collection site and ensuring adequate stock of supplies are on hand. Requisitions needed supply stock as required.
Secures samples from point of collection through transport and analysis
Participates in staff meetings and training as required or directed.
Safeguard personally identifiable health information (PHI) in accordance with duties and current agency HIPAA notification statement and standards.
Knows and follows program emergency procedures when necessary.
Understands and follows incident/accident reporting policies and procedures.

Have a demonstrated history to attention to detail.
Bachelor’s degree in science-related field, such as biology, chemistry or medical technology.

Ability to convey a positive and professional image to citizens, judicial staff and interested parties and must be able to maintain client confidentiality.
Must be computer literate and possess good organizational skills.

Ability to read text and numbers in English, and comprehend, measure, reason, match and problem solve.
Demonstrate excellent interpersonal and organizational skills.
Demonstrate excellent written and verbal communication skills.
Must possess and maintain a valid Florida Driver’s License.
