Job description
We are offering a sign on bonus of $1,000.00 after completing 90 days of employment with us.
PRINCIPAL ACCOUNTABILITIES
- Delivers product specified to various locations in a safe and efficient manner
- Coordinates with management safe and efficient delivery route
- Verifies with customer at time of delivery correct product delivered in satisfactory condition
- Maintain all required certifications required by DOT, OSHA and company safety programs
- Performs pre and post truck inspections
- Maintains truck maintenance records
- Notifies management of any safety issues with company vehicles
- Performs same duties as warehouse worker
- Other duties as assigned
- Some work in the warehouse or working a reduced schedule in the winter
QUALIFICATIONS
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Commercial Driving License (CDL Class-A) with Hazmat endorsement or pursing one
- 1 year driving delivery truck preferred
- 1 year forklift experience preferred
- 1 year warehouse experience preferred
OTHER INFORMATION
- Participate in afterhours Training classes

The Driver is responsible for delivering and transporting HVAC freight and materials daily from our one of our established wholesale HVAC distributorships that carries multiple brands of equipment, parts and supplies to customers, vendors and/or internally to other Sales Center locations.
Duties and responsibilities will include but are not limited to:
- Daily loading and unloading of products in truck for delivery to customers and/or other Sales Centers.
- Collect invoices with proper signatures and return to Sales Center Manager.
- Assist in the Warehouse with inventory counts, picking and verifying orders.
- Responsible for daily checklist of truck maintenance and reporting in/out times with merchandise returns.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
Qualifications
- High School Diploma or GED required.
- Minimum 3-year truck driving experience.
- Must possess a clean driving record with no restrictions, suspensions or DUI convictions in the past 3 years.
- Must be able to pass DOT physical examination requirements.
- CDL Class-A license PLUS Hazmat required or actively pursuing one
- 2 or more years warehouse experience, including driving a forklift/appliance lift, is a plus.
- Must be able to communicate effectively with customers and provide superior service.
- Must possess the attitude of wanting to learn and grow with the Company.
- Must be 21 years of age or older.
