POSITION OVERVIEW:

The part time driver is responsible to drive the company issued automobile to pick up new admissions from various destinations across the 5 boroughs. The part time driver will be part of the detox/rehab team and work with the outreach specialist to pick up new admissions for the detox/rehab program. He/She will be responsible for maintaining the maintenance and good condition of the vehicle. This is a part time position paying $22.07/Hr

KEY ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:

• Safely drives vehicle to transport Clients/Patients/Residents and/or employees on company business
• Transports new clients to the detox/rehab facility in the Bronx
• Responsible for maintaining cleanliness of the vehicle
• Keeps accurate record or all trips
• Is aware of Scheduled maintenance and insures it is performed
• Must be courteous to all passengers in the vehicle
• May be required to assist with Administrative duties when not driving
• Other duties in keeping with the scope and nature of the position as assigned

REQUIREMENTS:

• Fully vaccinated against covid-19
• High School Diploma, required and (2) years of experience in driving a vehicle.
• Valid New York State Drive License (Clean Record)
• Has experience in community outreach, substance abuse or mental health
• Has knowledge of addiction/mental health preferred.
• Knowledge of travel routes in all (5) boroughs required
• Bilingual (Spanish), preferred

Job Type: Part-time

Pay: $22.07 per hour
