General Responsibilities
Part-time, staff position needed for the college’s internet radio station that reports to the radio station’s program manager. Must have basic field and camera experience and basic editing skills using Adobe Premiere and Audition. Experience with sound and lighting a plus. Job requires a flexible work schedule.
Work Performed
- Must be able to work independently.
- Shoot video for promotional material on social media and Dragon Digital Radio website using video camera.
- Create PSAs for campus televisions and social media.
- Download and review media to create engaging content for social media.
- Edit promotional videos.
- Proof-read and double check all videos before posting.
- Schedule posts to Facebook and Instagram using Facebook Creator Studio.
- Analyze social media data and interpret them for best promotional practices.
- Research and execute plans for most effective marketing on social media and increase engagement.
- Create flyers for podcasts for student bulletin board.
Minimum Education Required
Minimum Number of Years Experience Required
Other Knowledge Required
- Some college course work in related field
- Minimum 6 months experience in videography and editing
- Knowledge of Adobe Premiere and Audition
- Knowledge of social media platforms including Facebook, Twitter & Instagram
Preferred
- Proficiency in Spanish
