Riverwalk Village at the House of The Good Shepherd , a premier destination for senior living in Hackettstown, NJ and managed by FellowshipLife, Inc. is seeking a Donor Relations & Special Events Specialist. Fellowship Foundation advances FellowshipLife's mission by providing philanthropic support which benefit each community resident and older adults throughout the region through programs, services, and community enhancements.
This position will report to the Fellowship Foundation Executive Director both virtually and in-person with occasional work-day meetings in Basking Ridge (Corporate Offices).
Essential Functions :
    Coordinate a comprehensive development program that includes major and planned gifts, annual and foundation giving, corporate sponsorships, prospect research, and volunteer engagement.
    Manage relationships with donors and develop strategies to increase donations from current supporters through cultivation efforts.
    Support future capital projects by driving fundraising plan initiatives and timelines for task-related duties.
    Work with the Foundation Board and Committees, and along with the Executive Director, as needed.
    Represent HOTGS at local networking events and create partnerships for support of fundraising events.
Qualifications:
    Bachelor’s Degree in Marketing or related field.
    Minimum 2 years direct development experience in a non-profit setting.
    Results-oriented with a strong sense of urgency and high level of integrity and dependability.
    Experience with special events such as charity golf events, galas, and other community outreach events.
    Experience with grant research and grant writing for sponsorship and programming support.
    Proficiency with Excel and a donor relations management system (Customer Relations Management), preferably Donor Perfect.
    Experience with Annual Appeal and Capital campaigns
    Possess the skills to manage donor relations software and reporting requirements.
