If you are a Documentation Specialist professional looking for an opportunity to grow, Emerson has an exciting opportunity for you! Based in our Pearland, TX location , you will manage documentation while collaborating with our sales team and communicating with customers.

AS A DOCUMENTATION SPECIALIST, YOU WILL:

• Issue technical documentation for internal and external use in accordance with ISO 9001, ISO 10474, ANSI/ASME, and other applicable regulatory guidelines
• Create order-specific product documentation (certificates of compliance, weld procedures, test reports) based on customer specifications and requirements and submit it to customers for review and approval
• Support requests for information/documentation from the Sales group at various stages of order fulfillment
• Provide requested documentation to third party inspectors and participate in inspection meetings as needed
• Enter and manage Material Test Reports and heat number data generated by Production
• Manage vendor testing procedures and ensure they remain current
• Produce original documentation to include drawings, manuals, procedures, and work instructions
• Develop and maintain documentation tools and systems
• Transition existing, documented department forms and certificates into updated formats
• Evaluate all documents for completeness and accuracy and resolve discrepancies
• Collect available documentation into a central repository and establish documentation baselines
• Manage and archive documentation (manufacturing and Quality-based) according to established policies and procedures
• Track and log quality-related issues with documentation
• Provide advice and recommendations on technical innovations that may be applicable to the organization
• Expected to be proficient in a variety of computer software including but not limited to Microsoft Office, Visio, SharePoint, and PDF applications
• Demonstrated ability to work successfully both as an individual and in a team environment
• Requires strong organizational skills including the ability to multitask and prioritize projects based on importance

REQUIRED EDUCATION, EXPERIENCE & SKILLS:

• High School Diploma or GED
• Two (2) years of related experience in a manufacturing environment
• Legal authorization to work in the United States
