The Dispatcher - Fueling is responsible for the day-to-day coordination and deployment of personnel and equipment assigned to the Fueling Department, while ensuring customer standards and contractual services are met.


ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

Ensure that company safety and health policies are enforced.

Ensure that FAA, TSA, IATA, ATA, U.S. Customs, airport authority and Company rules and regulations are complied with.

Ensure compliance with ATA 103 Fuel Quality Control Specification, NFPA 407, and FAR Part 139.321. Ensure customer’s computer hardware (i.e., SABRE system) is used in accordance with customer’s standards.

Maintain portable radio inventory and radio assignment log sheet. Liaise with Branch Management for necessary repairs.

Communicate and follow-up with Maintenance Department on equipment repairs to ensure an adequate level of in-service equipment is maintained to meet customer needs.

Maintain scheduled customers’ flights schedules and communicate changes to management. Audit and correct fuel related paperwork as necessary.

Assist Supervisor in the overall supervision of the department.


QUALIFICATIONS

  • 1 year experience of fueling operations preferred
  • High School Diploma or equivalent
  • Valid driver's license
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Must be computer literate, and either possess or have the ability to learn Sabre and Microsoft applications
  • Must be able to work in inclement weather

LANGUAGE SKILLS & WRITING SKILLS

Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety, operational, and procedural manuals. Ability to write clear, concise reports and correspondence. Ability to speak effectively before groups of people to include the airline customers, fueling company personnel, and the airport authority.


MATHEMATICAL SKILLS

  • Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals.
