Dispatch Leader

As a Dispatch and Logistics Leader you will be responsible for our most valuable customer service: efficient and accurate delivery of building materials.

Day-to-Day:

• Manage driver and yard teams, including hiring, training and performance development.
• Schedule efficient and accurate delivery of building materials, balancing the needs of the customer with resources and capacity available.
• Utilize industry-specific business software, Spruce, for dispatch scheduling and invoicing orders.
• Work as a team. Dispatch and yard leadership partnering with the sales team to provide the best customer experience. Work with other branch dispatchers across the company, effectively as one logistics team.
• Prevent delivery issues by looking ahead and initiating process improvements.
• Optimize driver time and delivery costs per mile.
• Schedule maintenance on vehicles to support up-time.
• Daily customer interface with builders and sales team.
• Lead team huddles to boost comradery and share information efficiently.
