Our headquarters is located in Fremont, CA. We service all of Northern & Central California from multiple locations. At B.A.T.S, we provide high quality traffic control safety services to construction job sites, such as Flagging traffic through a work site, Lane Closures to divert traffic, or Detouring traffic to reduce traffic congestion and prevent accidents.
We serve the needs of varied industries and are focused on maintaining a safe work environment for the construction crew, our employees, and the public. Our focus is Safety, so our customers can focus on their jobs.
POSITION SUMMARY:
POSITION DUTIES:
Customer Service- Answering Phones
- Taking Job Orders
- Checking and Reviewing Emails
- Inputting Job Orders into scheduling system
- Placing internal inventory requests
- Electronic Filing
- Booking Hotel Stays
- Some Scheduling, Routing and Dispatching
- Working with Customers, Senior Schedulers and Project Management team to ensure jobs are scheduled accurately
- Creating Purchase Orders
- Reviewing Traffic Plans (Prints)
- Data Entry
- Job-site assessment
- Other duties as assigned
WHAT YOU NEED TO BE AMAZING AT B.A.T.S:
Administrative Experience Required- Resource Scheduling and Dispatching Experience
- Strategic Dispatching and Routing Skills
- Highly organized
- Good Customer Service
- Team Player
- Comfortable working in a high volume, fast paced environment
- Experience working with construction and or traffic plans
- Proficient with computers and computer software such as MS Office and Salesforce
- Good Typing Skills 40-50 WPM minimum
- Bi-Lingual a plus but not required
- Good interpersonal skills
- Clean Driving Record
- Good Communication Skills
- Schedule must be flexible, Mid-day Shift and Evening Shift
- Knowledge of the construction and or transportation industry a plus but not required
- Good geographical knowledge of Northern and Central California
WHAT YOU NEED TO HAVE BEFORE YOU GET HERE:
- High School diploma or GED
- Two years of college course work or equivalent experience
- At least three years of administrative experience in a construction or transportation environment
WHAT YOU PHYSICALLY MAY BE REQUIRED TO DO:
Prolonged sitting and minor lifting up to 50lb may be required
