We are the go-to spot in the bustling community of Williamsburg, Brooklyn! We are looking for an excited, motivated, hard-working and experienced Dishwasher/Porter to help support our small kitchen team.
Our menu is fresh, healthy and Australian-focused, with creative and captivating dishes that look as good as they taste. Our focus is on making amazing food that covers many cultures and flavors to bring together a new and exciting style of eating in the brunch-capital of Brooklyn. The ideal candidate loves working in a fun, fast-paced, team environment, thrives in a kitchen atmosphere, and is motivated by success, as well as team and individual growth.
Work hours from 8:30am-5:30pm, 4 days a week.
Must be able to work Wednesday - Saturday, with availability to occasionally cover extra shifts when needed.
Responsibilities:
- Bussing dirty dishes and glassware to the dish-area
- Keeping the kitchen clean and stocked on clean utensils/cookware
- Dishwashing and cleaning / sanitizing
- Assist with kitchen tasks / prep / receiving deliveries
- Cleaning of cafe throughout the day, and end of day clean of kitchen
- Handling garbage and recycling disposal
Qualifications:
- Previous experience in dishwashing or porter position is preferred
