Selene Finance is looking for a talented and experienced Director of Reporting and Analytics to owner the organization's Reporting and Analytics platforms. The ideal candidate has a passion for technology modernization, self-service analytics, and data unification across the enterprise. The right candidate will be self-directed and excited by the prospect of leading the vision, design, and implementation of our company's reporting and analytic initiatives. This role requires a highly motivated, organized and experienced business focused technology leader with a deep background in data and analytics, along with a strong, proven record of delivery.

Primary Functions:

• Lead team and deliver vision and implementation modern reporting and analytic solutions
• Define best practices and guidelines to ensure high quality across our data solutions
• Work closely with business, architecture, and business SMEs to define and establish a modern approach to our reporting and analytic platforms
• Develop and maintain strong awareness and knowledge of Selene's business and data, as well as, the mortgage industry's standards and regulations

Education:

Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a similar technical field of study, a quantitative field, or related practical experience. Advanced degree preferred.

Experience:

• 12+ years of industry experience with reporting and analytical solutions
• Significant experience building and transforming teams through technology, organization, and culture
• Skilled in communicating complex technical operational concepts and requirements to both technical and nontechnical audiences
• Ability to carry and execute vision and strategy and to influence key stakeholders on the design and implementation of reporting and analytics platforms
• Experience designing and deploying enterprise solutions on cloud-based data and analytics platforms
• Experience in mortgage and with mortgage related data and technology

Other Skills and Abilities:

• Proficient in Excel, Google Looker, and Microsoft Power BI
• Expert knowledge of numerous industry leading relational and non-relational databases
• Knowledge of MISMO
• Knowledge of compliance/regulatory standards like PCI, GLBA and handling of PII
• Experience with systems design and development across the SDLC
• Ability to succinctly articulate verbally and through formal presentations solution options and decisions to executives
• Ability to manage and meet expectations of executives, peers, and staff
• Versed in multi-tenant, high-availability production environments
• Experience with Agile delivery
• Strong work ethic, positive demeanor, and drive to see projects through to successful completion
