Overview: The Treasurer is responsible for providing strategic leadership and oversight in the areas of treasury operations, cash management, and cash flow planning. The Treasurer will manage all cash management functions including accounts payable, accounts receivable, and account funding to ensure adequate liquidity. Additional responsibility includes managing short and long-term cash flow for the business, with a primary focus on strategic cash allocation and risk mitigation. The right candidate has strong managerial skills, working across multi-functional teams and experience managing multiple work flows and direct reports.
Responsibilities: Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

• Oversee cash management banking and financial institution relationships – negotiate bank and service fees
• Implement new bank technologies, products and services to improve cash cycle and simplify company operations including accounts receivable and accounts payable
• Streamline and standardize existing cash management functions with existing and new software/technology
• Lead and retain a team of treasury professionals to ensure compliance with established processes, controls, and operational policies
• Work directly with the VP of Accounting and VP of Finance
• Develop, maintain, and streamline cash forecasting and reporting for all operating businesses, ensuring that the business is fully informed on key treasury metrics and cash needs
• Assess overall risk around cash management, payment processing, banking systems, and funding processes. Develop and implement the overall strategy to mitigate risks.
• Manage inter-company cash and transactions
• Coordinate approval process with C-Level Staff

Supervisory Responsibilities:

• Directly supervise the accounts payable and accounts receivable departments

Qualifications:

Education and/or Work Experience Requirements: *

• 8-10 years of experience in cash management, accounts payable, and accounts receivable
• Strong interpersonal skills and experience managing multiple direct reports
• Solid analytical and problem-solving skills, experience in Excel required
• Professional Certification in Accounts (CPA Designation)
• Excellent verbal and written communication
• Familiarity with banking industry rules and regulations
• Experience working with Vista accounting software preferred, but not required

Physical Requirements/Work Environment:
Work is performed in an office environment. Must be able to sit, stand, bend, twist and lift up to 20 pounds
