Position: Senior Tax Accountant

Location: Morganville, NJ

Position Title: Director of Accounting and Tax

Position Summary:

• Audits, Reviews, and Compilations: Your duties in this area are to prepare all aspects with regard to the Compilation, Reviews, and Audits. This includes the preparation of all work papers, letters of engagement, and all applicable checklists for this work. Eventually, you will train, supervise and have client contact whereby you are the leader in this area. This also includes full responsibility in working with partners and the staff to have us ready for our upcoming peer review this January 2023.
• Tax responsibilities: You will participate in the preparation of all tax returns including but not limited to individuals, partnerships, corporations and non-profits. Eventually, you will become a reviewer with the expectations of also training and supervising the level of staff deemed appropriate. This will also include tax research and tax projections.
• Other work: You will also be involved in other work such as due diligence work for clients' purchase and sales of business, and other special reports and consulting we do from time to time.
• Client Work: We would like you to take over at least $1,500,000 of client billings and relationships within the first year.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $200,000.00 - $300,000.00 per year
