What We're Looking For

Partners with HNTB offices to implement the HNTB Partners Program, providing a forum for HNTB Corporation to build relationships and partner on business opportunities with local small and minority businesses throughout the country. Engages Small Business and Diversity Business Enterprise firms in HNTB projects to help bolster our client’s Small Business Enterprise (SBE) and Disadvantaged Business Enterprise (DBE) participation.

What You'll Need

Essential Responsibilities:

• Develops materials and implements training, and mentoring programs for small business enterprise (SBE) and disadvantaged business enterprise (DBE) firms working on transportation projects, including training programs for business operations, business management, human resources, and sales and marketing.
• Conducts and facilitates high level workshops for transportation directors and elected and public officials regarding SBE development, programs and centralized training centers
• Directs and manages the communications and public outreach efforts for transportation programs.
• Manages budget for small business development and other programs for HNTB projects.
• Develops strategies and coordinates the dissemination of facts and information on project, clients, and organizations to news organizations for publication
• Interacts with clients to develop and implement comprehensive communication strategies and plans.
• Participates, serves, attends, presents and represents HNTB on transportation boards (COMTO, AMAC, TRB, Partnership in Diversity, etc.)
• Performs other duties as assigned

Minimum Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Management, Public Relations, Marketing and Communications or related field
• 10 years of relevant experience
