Job Summary: The Director of Security is responsible for the oversight of Security operations and systems necessary to effectively manage Integral Care's complex security needs in an environment of safety. Security operations will include financial, operational and strategic management, This position requires a strategic thinker with understanding of security and law enforcement operations to carry out the multiple tasks involved in the Agency's security environment. Provides leadership and administrative oversight to assigned areas and functions, including the development and implementation of new or expanded services in designated areas of responsibility. Oversight includes all budgetary, quality, staffing, and performance metrics of the position. This position is accountable for creating an atmosphere which encourages motivation, innovation, and high performance. Recruits, selects, and hires appropriate staff for the organization including Integral Care internal security and contracted security staff. Develops approaches for designing and implementing processes including recommendations for policy and procedure improvements. This position has a broad scope of responsibility and oversight for the security of Integral Care, its personnel, clients, and all persons at each site. Will serve on all appropriate committees.

Regular, predictable attendance is considered to be an essential requirement for this position. Other duties may be assigned. May require a flexible work schedule.

Education:

Preferred:

  • Graduated from an accredited college or university with a Bachelor's degree or Master's degree.

License:

Required:

  • Current and valid driver's license and a clean driving record.
  • Texas Commission on Law Enforcement (TCOLE)


Experience:

Required:

  • Minimum of seven (7)years of management experience of a large law enforcement staff or security operation.

Preferred:

  • 5 or more years of community mental health center experience

Hours: Full-time; Workdays; Monday-Friday, Workhours; 8:00am-5:00pm.

Salary: $96,656 annually
