Ghost Ranch is currently looking for an experienced and visionary Director of Programs who understands and embodies the JEDI principles of Justice, Equity, Diversity and Inclusion, and the importance of these principles in program creation and implementation. The following is a brief overview of the position’s minimum qualifications, responsibilities, and key personal attributes necessary to qualify as a candidate.

Ghost Ranch is an Education and Retreat Center located in Abiquiu, New Mexico. Our center sits on 21,000 acres of beautiful, northern New Mexico land, which inspires our mission to steward a place of great beauty and nurture the human spirit and mind. We have a rich history and a deep commitment to our local community, our guests and each other.

PURPOSE: The Director of Programs designs, implements, and evaluates all Ghost Ranch sponsored programs and leads the mission and ministry of the ranch.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:

• Master’s degree and five years of relevant program development experience.
• Five years in a leadership role with proven success with empowering a team.
• Solid working knowledge of different philosophical systems and religions; including basic principles, values, ethics, ways of thinking, customs, practices, and their impact on human culture.
• Advanced skills in creative visioning, program development, conference planning, networking, inventory control, budgeting, and time management.
• Strong communication and public speaking skills that easily span diverse demographics to effectively communicate both internally and externally Ghost Ranch program opportunities and our mission.

This is a full-time, salary, exempt position, which requires flexibility in scheduling that may include weekends, holidays, and evening hours when program participants are on-site. Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $65,000.00 - $85,000.00 per year
