Job description
The Corporate Director of Operations will be responsible for ensuring that all fast casual restaurants achieve their operational and financial goals and objectives. As a leader of multiple fast casual restaurants, the Director of Operations will be responsible for leading the on-site managers, catering, and/or food production operations. They start by ensuring that all guests receive signature S2K service. The Director should ensure that each store is ready to serve the next guest by ensuring that the store is clean, stocked, and organized. They should check for uniform deficiencies and smiling faces on all team members who could possibly come into contact with a guest. The Director needs to be in constant contact with each on-site leadership team member and Operator as to what is happening in their scope of responsibility at that time and is responsible for the overall flow of the restaurant. They will be tasked with ensuring we are meeting the requirements necessary to create remarkable experiences and meeting all brand standards. The Director will be expected to set the standard for signature service and therefore must lead by example. To do this, the Director need to actively show a passion for service and for the S2K brand. A cheerful attitude accompanied with a desire to get things done makes a great example for all members of your team.
Essential Duties:
- Developing and implementing an annual budget and strategies to maximize profitable food & beverage revenue.
- Working closely with sales and marketing team members to develop and implement annual business/marketing plans that support the budgeted goals for each location and the portfolio.
- Developing and implementing menus, package deals, promotions, displays, decorations and presentations that maintain high quality standards, improve guest patronage, and align with sales and financial goals.
- Developing and implementing standardized training manuals and operating procedures for all locations to ensure quality, service, and effective cost controls.
- Ensuring proper recruitment, development, management and retention of associates.
- Ensuring that all food & beverage associates are trained on and adhere to all federal, state and local safety, sanitation, and alcohol awareness regulations and laws.
- Ensuring that all food & beverage equipment and facilities are maintained and operated in compliance with all federal, state and local safety and sanitation regulations and laws.
- Regularly traveling to all properties managed by S2K to ensure that the food & beverage business/marketing plans are being implemented as developed and to provide training/assistance to department managers as needed.
- Ensuring customer needs are being met and exceeded.
- Recommending new and varied ways to maximize guest satisfaction while controlling costs.
- Facilitating and maintaining effective communication between all operating departments.
- Performing special projects and other responsibilities as assigned. Participating in task forces and committees as requested.

- High School Diploma or equivalent
- Strong analytical and problem solving skills
- Experience as a leader in the customer service industry
- Must possess the following strengths: high energy, entrepreneurial spirit, motivational leader, and the ability to ensure exceptional customer service and bottom-line financial performance.
- Must have excellent written and verbal communication and interpersonal skills.
