The Marketing Director is responsible for marketing in the Clearlake Market. He/she will be tasked in developing and maintaining a census that meets / exceeds targeted goals. The Marketing Director and Liaison team will assist with the coordination of the referral to admission conversion process.

License or Certification:

  • Current Texas driver’s license and acceptable driving record according to company policy
  • Maintains current licensure and/or certifications, if applicable.

Education, Training and Years of Experience:

  • Minimum of 2 years directing Marketing / Liaison Teams in the Healthcare industry
  • 1 year experience as a clinical liaison or successful sales experience in healthcare environment preferred
  • Familiarity with acute hospital, rehab hospitals, and local healthcare market preferred

Standard Responsibilities:

  • Ability to lead, organize and motivate a sales and clinical liaison team to achieve measurable targeted results

  • Vision to formulate successful, efficient, effective marketing strategies and to guide and motivate a team to implement the vision

  • Collaborates in the development of aggressive targets that achieve success for the Hospital. Targets should include: daily contacts, referrals, admissions

*

  • Meets / Exceeds Referral, Admission and Census goals

*

  • Leads Team to develop individual and team strategies that meet/ exceeds referral, admission and census goals.

*

  • Collaboratively monitors individual and team performance towards meeting performance goals and holds them accountable for performance

*

  • Resourceful and resilient in overcoming challenges, obstacles and barriers to obtaining admissions / census goal and overall in helping team to meet and exceed goals

*

  • Develops a culture of passion, success and can do attitude within team

*

  • Develop or guide the development of marking collaterals and tools for success

*

  • Efficiently and effectively deploy marketing resources, tools and collaterals that achieve quantifiable results

*

  • Assess the strengths and opportunities to develop Liaison team and to utilize the strengths to the advantage of the team and to provide support and training in areas of opportunity

*

  • Strong, genuine interpersonal skills for developing strong relationships with referral sources, patients, families, peers and within the community

*

  • Develops, guides the development of, monitors and maintains a strong online presence on social media, website, patient satisfaction sites, etc.

*

  • Develops, guides the development of marketing collaterals, campaigns, promotions and activities that are results oriented and measurable. Each tool or activity should be regularly assessed for effectiveness.

  • Represents self and Sugar Land Rehab Hospital professionally and ethically at all times and ensures the same from the liaison team

*

  • Meets compliance standards and policies at all times and ensures the same of staff

Physical Demands:

  • Ability to communicate in English via phone, in writing, and verbally in conversation with different levels of staff, patient families, and any outside customers.

  • Works in office areas as well as throughout the Facility. Must be able to move about intermittently during working hours including standing, lifting, bending, stooping, twisting, pushing and pulling.
  • Travels to referral sources to include physician offices, Hospitals, skilled nursing facilities. Must be able to drive and to move about between and within offices, facilities and businesses. Extensive walking may be required.
  • Must be able to transfer patients and assists in emergency evacuations.
  • Interacts with patients, family members, staff, visitors, government agencies/personnel, etc., under all conditions/circumstances.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $70,000.00 - $85,000.00 per year
