Position Summary:
Reporting to the Corporate HR Director and designated Site President, the Human Resources and People Strategy Director is responsible for policy harmonization and implementation, compensation & benefits management, employee relations, recruitment, compliance, auxiliary services, risk management, pastoral care, and all people strategy at all HHS campuses. The Director participates as a member of the Senior Leadership Team and attends other meetings and seminars as required. This includes Executive Meetings, CFV transition and strategy meetings, organizational communication strategy meetings, employee engagement, culture, and labor strategy meetings.
Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:
Five (5) + years of progressive leadership and managerial experience in Human Resources. Must be skilled in strategic planning and be able to negotiate and mediate conflict. Prior Hospital experience a plus. Must have the ability to identify, organize and allocate resources. Broad knowledge and experience in employment law, compensation and benefits administration, organizational planning and development, employee relations, safety, and training. Must possess exemplary oral and written communication skills. Excellent interpersonal, coaching, and organizational skills. Demonstrated ability to lead and develop Human Resources staff members. Position requires a high level of confidentiality. Specialized training in employment law, compensation, organizational planning, organization development, employee relations, safety, training, and preventive labor relations, preferred. Active affiliation with appropriate Human Resources network and organizations and ongoing community involvement, preferred. Possess ongoing affiliations with leaders in successful companies and organizations that practice effective Human Resources Management.
Required Education, Licenses, and Certifications:
- Bachelor's Degree Human Resources
Human Resources, Business, Organization Development required.

- Master's Degree
Human Resources, Business, Organization Development.
Other Information:
Ability to move throughout the Medical Center. Visual acuity for reviewing documentation. Public speaking abilities for making presentations.
