We are currently in growth mode and looking for a Director of Financial Planning and Analysis. The position will report to the Senior Vice President of Finance and Administration and can be based in either Los Angeles or Miami.
Responsibilities:
- Lead the budgeting, forecasting, long-term planning, implementation, and business strategic analysis of the financial team.
- Conduct financial analysis, modeling, forecasting and reporting efforts to ensure efficient financial operations.
- Prepare the monthly management reports, KPI analysis, and profitability dashboards.
- Review results, develops insightful suggestions for investment, sourcing, cost reduction and leads strategic business decisions.
- Work closely with the Corporate Controller to implement internal controls and other policies and procedures pertaining to the finance function.
- Participate in the risk assessment management process and internal audit activities.
- Support department heads in managing budgets and expenses.
- Support the SVP in the preparation of board of directors’ reports.
- Additional ad-hoc activities within the finance department.
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in accounting, business administration, economics or related field is required. Advanced degree preferred.
- 7+ years of experience in similar management position.
- Bilingual English-Spanish
- Advanced knowledge of Excel including modeling, dashboard, and graphs.
- Ability to see the big picture while analyzing large amount of data.
- Independent, proactive with a “go-getter” attitude.
- Excellent oral and written communication skills.
- Excellent problem solving and analytical skills.
- Ability to work multiple projects in short deadlines.
- Ability to work effectively independently and with a team.
- Previous exposure to M&A a plus.
Work Environment
- This position will be hybrid with work hours split between the office and home.
Compensation
- For any candidate hired in California, the applicable salary range is $145,000 - $160,000 annually.
