Position Overview: Director of Developmental Services

We are seeking an exceptionally qualified candidate to oversee the Developmental Services Unit. The Director is responsible for providing administrative, programmatic and fiscal oversight for all departments that provide services to individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities. In conjunction with program managers, the incumbent will be responsible for the oversight of the following services: Residential Supports, Developmental Case Management, Center and Non-Center Based Day Support Programming, and RAISE (early intervention) program. The incumbent serves as a member of the agency Leadership Team, assisting with the development and implementation of agency strategic planning.

Minimum: Bachelor’s Degree in a human services field. 3-5 years’ experience in developmental disabilities field. 5 years management experience with documented experience in program development and administration. Certified housing specialist or willingness to obtain within provisional period.

Preferred: Master’s Degree in a human service field. knowledge and understanding of the Medicaid Waiver System, and HUD section 811 guidelines.
