DESCRIPTION
Responsible for overseeing Claims Operations, ensuring functions meet and exceed the needs of the business by continuously reviewing the effectiveness of current procedures, while striving to identify improvements to the process. Supports execution of company business objectives globally by providing expertise, leadership, and executive-level support. Provides thought leadership to implement a long-term site-based or centralized management department, ensuring resources are aligned to meet business needs. Partners with key corporate support organizations to drive performance and support business objectives.
Responsibilities
- Influences, drives and supports operations strategy, plan, goals and objectives in support of organizational strategy.
- Accountable for supporting and creating claims servicing solutions across process, technology, workforce, clients and/or analytics in support of client supplier relationships to deliver high level performance.
- Manages numerous contractual obligations to include processes, outcomes and people.
- Analyzes performance outcomes and implement changes to ensure timely responses to customer needs.
- Works cross-functionally to utilize, manage, and configure the management platform for forecasting, scheduling, tracking, monitoring, and reporting the daily, monthly and quarterly statistics.
- Leads the team to achieve goals and objectives by communicating job expectations; planning, monitoring, and business results; coaching, counseling, and disciplining employees; developing, coordinating, and enforcing systems, policies, procedures, and productivity standards.
- Identifies and advances broad process improvements to the operation and Allcat organization including efficiency, effectiveness, compliance and partnerships.
- Responsible for leadership, communication, employee engagement and coordination of business initiatives.
- Creates conditions for success by removing obstacles and leading and championing change.
- Supports workload surges and/or catastrophe operations as needed to include working significant overtime during designated catastrophe events
MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent work experience.
- 4 years of claims experience.
- 2-3 year claims leadership experience.
- Demonstrated ability to lead through change, drive business results and create a culture of accountability.
- Demonstrated ability to effectively communicate both orally and in writing to influence at all levels of leadership, driving accountability and sense of urgency.
- Business and technical acumen in the areas of effective claims handling processes, compliance, integrated change management and front-line communications leading to operational excellence.
- Proven record to build relationships with clients, other team members and internal partners.
- Strong analytical and problem solving skills.
- Current TX adjuster license or ability to obtain TX adjuster license (paid by Allcat).
- Demonstrated knowledge of Microsoft Suite and Outlook.
PREFERRED
- 5 year’s auto claims experience.
- More than 3 years leadership experience.
- 2 years leading task based work.
- End to end auto claims experience to include investigations, evaluations, negotiations and resolutions with Auto and Property Claims.
- Bachelor’s degree.
- Advanced college degree or advanced industry certifications such as CPCU or SCLA
- Prior Military Service
