As our Director of Advanced Technology and Assets you will lead the team and develop our people and processes associated with physical assets within Exotic Metals Division of Parker Aerospace, with emphasis on understanding and implementing game changing advanced manufacturing technologies. Establish cross functional and cross geographical collaboration leveraging collective innovation and resources. Anticipate, plan, and adapt site assets to ensure manufacturing capability meets strategic business needs. Tactical oversight and responsibility for annual planning, budgeting, implementation, and maintenance of site assets. Successfully engage cross-functional teams to ensure the achievement of company goals for Quality, Cost, Delivery, Safety, and Morale. Build and refine processes to ensure overall manufacturing system excellence.

Essential Functions and Responsibilities

• Represent the company as the primary internal and external assets contact
• Lead our understanding of developing industry manufacturing technology and advocate for strategic implementation to improve Exotic’s existing capability and capacity
• Lead the strategic planning and execution of asset lifecycle management
• Strategic planning and recommendations for locating product manufacturing in support of improving overall company operations and new product introductions
• Strategic planning and execution for acquiring, outfitting, and maintaining facilities
• Influence new business decisions based on knowledge of manufacturing technologies
• Develop and lead direct reports and first-line supervisors through active coaching
• Establish organizational structures and communication mechanisms, subject to upper management approval
• Approve the planning and directing of site resources and equipment layout
• Proactively develop and maintain effective working relationships with and between sites, functional organizations, and site internal departments
• Support and positively influence health, safety, and environmental initiatives
• Effectively manage costs and identify opportunities for increased efficiencies
• Establish and participate in forming strategic initiatives
• Implement methods and action plans to ensure site support of company strategic initiatives
• Ensure success of factory execution to long term objectives and increased capability
• Lead with humility and respect every individual

Fully Proficient Qualifications

• Master’s degree or equivalent experience
• 10 years previous leadership
• 15 years experience in manufacturing environment
• High level of emotional intelligence
• Strong People orientation
• Drive for improvement
