Job Summary

This role will be a key asset in the future growth of the company. We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Director of Accounting and Financial Reporting to join our team. Reporting to the Chief Executive Officer, the Director will be accountable for providing external reporting to the Board and ensuring compliance with tax and regulatory requirements. There is there is the option of a hybrid schedule following training.

Responsibilities

· The Director, Financial Reporting & Corporate Accounting will own and drive the ongoing external reporting process as well as support the Chief Executive Officer in managing the accounting and finance needs of our growing organization.

· Responsible for developing and directing accounting policies and procedures, ensuring compliance with generally accepted accounting principles, regulatory and legal requirements while leveraging an in-depth understanding of best practices within the industry to enhance Atlantic's competitive position.

· Responsible for keeping current with generally accepted accounting principles and industry regulations to properly implement required operational and reporting requirements. • Promote a culture of high performance and continuous improvement that values learning and a commitment to quality, to include hiring, training and retaining competent accounting and finance staff in a timely manner.

· Prepare reports and presentation to Board of Directors and Senior Management Team.

Qualifications

· Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field. MBA Preferred.

· CPA required.

· A minimum of 5 years of experience in accounting, finance, or related field.

· Healthcare industry experience strongly desired.

· Strong leadership skills and ability to lead, coach, and mentor staff.

· Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.

· Strong communication and interpersonal skills.

· Knowledge of GAAP, MSP, and tax regulations.

· Experience in creating and analyzing financial statements and reports.

Physical/Mental Requirements

Prolonged periods sitting at a desk and working on a computer, lifting maximum of 15 lbs.

Pay: $100,000.00 - $145,000.00 per year
