Summary:

The Director, FP&A will lead the financial planning and develop a comprehensive understanding of all key business drivers, while building sophisticated financial models that enable the FP&A team to deliver insightful, value-added analysis across the company. The role requires someone who is self-starting, meticulous, and ambitious.


Responsibilities:

  • Lead the financial planning and develop a comprehensive understanding of all key business drivers and sophisticated financial models that enable the FP&A team to deliver insightful, value-added analysis across the business
  • Prepare monthly reporting packages that includes full financial statements, comprehensive Key Performance Indicator (KPI) reporting, operational Dashboard reporting, analysis of key business trends, actual versus budget variances and comprehensive executive level explanations of differences
  • Build an in-depth understanding of all lines of business and analyze key drivers for each, to be able to identify efficiencies and provide recommendations to improve results – either enhanced revenues or cost savings – across departments
  • Develop and monitor the company’s annual budget and monthly forecasts and ensuring all budgets and forecasts are accurate, comprehensive, and completed on time
  • Provide financial modeling, financial analysis and valuation support for acquisitions, new product development, long-term contracts and other ad-hoc financial projects
  • Assist in preparing analysis, commentary, and presentation material for the monthly and quarterly financial review meetings
  • Support development of the organization’s strategic business plans through the creation of scenario analysis reports to help enable swift decision making

Qualifications:

  • Degree in finance or accounting, MBA a plus
  • Must be familiar with generally accepted accounting principles (GAAP)
  • 7+ years relevant experience
  • Superb leadership, management, and interpersonal skills
  • Willingness to work nights and weekends
  • Meticulous, ambitious, organized, team player
