Colorado Salary and Benefit Statement:
The salary range displayed is specifically for those potential hires who will work or reside in the state of Colorado if selected for the role. Any offered salary is determined based on internal equity, internal salary ranges, market data/ranges, applicant’s skills and prior relevant experience.
Colorado Salary Range: $108,000-135,000
This position is eligible to participate in a bonus program. Metrics and level of participation are determined annually.
This position is eligible for health care benefits, life insurance, time off benefits and participation in the Company’s 401(k) plan
- Manages the Accounting/Finance department.
- Responsible for every aspect of monthly close process including JE preparation and/or review, creation of financial statements, trend analysis, and review of all account reconciliations.
- Manages the entire annual budget process including coordination with senior management of every functional area to ensure timely and accurate completion of the process.
- Participate in a wide variety of special projects and create a variety of ad-hoc analysis.
- Establish and maintain systems and internal controls which verify the integrity of Company data and reporting and protect Company assets.
- Assist in the preparation of various income tax schedules to assure the accurate and timely completion of all income tax returns.
- Collaborates with the Chief Financial Officer on a variety of cost saving/profit enhancing initiatives and other one-off projects.
- Works with department heads to establish processes and internal controls related to payment applications.
- Manages the Customer Support/Credit department.
- Coordinates with the Business Services Department, ensuring the accurate and timely processing of accounts payable, purchase orders, employee expense reports, cash control, core payroll processing.
- Investigates unusual customer/sales representative activity.
- Communicate with co-workers, management, clients, bank, and others in a courteous and professional manner.
- Other duties, as assigned by the jobholder’s supervisor, may also be required.
- Bachelor’s degree in related field and/or equivalent training and work experience
- Minimum of 10 years of accounting managerial experience
- Advanced PC skills using MS Office and other various computer programs including presentation software
- Must be a results-oriented professional with verbal/written communication skills using diplomacy and discretion as well as customer service skills
- Ability to multi-task, work independently and/or within a team, pay attention to detail and meet deadlines
- Analytic and Reporting skills
- Utilize sound judgement and problem-solving skills
- Ability to work in fast-paced, high-volume, team environment
- Strong knowledge of general ledger, cost accounting, accounts payable, accounts receivable, payroll, income tax, and banking
- Experience with an ERP system (SAP experience)
- While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to, stand, sit; talk, hear, and use hands and fingers to operate a computer and telephone
- People management responsibility for pay reviews, performance management, training, and resource planning.
- Requires conceptual thinking to understand complex issues and their implications, where sufficient information may not be available.
