JOB SUMMARY
Responsible for management of the company’s coatings removal facilities in North America, associated transportation operations, and management of sales growth initiatives and profitability for the coatings removal and fabrication product lines.
DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES
- Manage the company’s coatings removal facilities to drive continuous improvement in safety, quality, service, and productivity.
- Set annual performance goals and conduct reviews for all direct reports.
- Maintain a strong, constant focus on workplace safety to establish a culture that requires safe work behaviors by everyone present at our facilities.
- Manage pricing for the coatings removal and fabrication product lines to deliver profitable growth.
- Closely track cost vs. budgets and maintain costs as a % of sales during periods of lower revenue.
- Maintain compliance with legal requirements, including environmental standards, OSHA workplace safety standards, transportation regulations, labor standards, and other applicable requirements.
- Develop annual sales plans and targets, and track performance monthly. Commercial leadership will include management of the direct sales team, and partnering with other sales managers to keep non-direct sales employees engaged in selling coatings removal and fabrication.
QUALIFICATIONS
- > 10 years of operations leadership experience in a manufacturing environment.
- > 2 years of experience in sales. Experience leading business development efforts in the coatings removal industry preferred.
- Strong communication skills; ability to communicate well with plant employees, vendors, customers, and senior leaders.
- Proficient with business software platforms. Ability to analyze data and prepare presentations and communications to guide members of the operations and sales teams.
- Ability to prepare annual sales and expense budgets and manage performance.
EDUCATION REQUREMENTS
- Preferred education would include a technical or business degree and management/leadership training.
