We are seeking a Director of Business Philanthropy to serve as the professional liaison whose work will primarily focus on those who want to network and associate with Federation through their business involvement. The teammate will help create awesome events, foster relationships develop leaders and assist in growing the Annual Campaign.

PRIMARY DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES

• Alongside a team of professionals and lay leaders, implement an outreach & fundraising campaign for this segment of the community that educates the audience about the annual campaign and maximizes the number of people contributing.
• Work collaboratively to brainstorm, plan and execute programming and events for the Business and Professional Division and Professional Jewish Women’s Collect (PJWC) cohorts.
• Be responsible for campaign portfolio of donors and prospects.
• Work cross functionally with other departments to plan programming that tell inspiring stories of our mission and work through Understand and meet the needs of lay leaders, the business community and the Greater South Palm Beach Jewish community.

REQUIREMENT SKILLS & ABILITIES

• Bachelor’s degree required, preferred areas of discipline: business, marketing, fundraising, Jewish communal professional
• Excellent communicator and storyteller, understands how to create clear, simple communications that catches the attention of an audience on the go
• Social media, marketing and/or communication experience
• A charismatic, go-getter, who is comfortable working a room, and able to problem solve autonomously
• Is able to talk to anyone and excels at understanding people’s interests and engaging them
• Strong organizational skills
• Digitally savvy
• Understands Federation’s values of be a mensch, have integrity, be collaborative, community-minded, passionate, resourceful, and accountable
• Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite and social media
• Must possess strong written and oral communications skills
• Familiarity with and understanding of the South Palm Beach community and/or National Jewish community is a plus
• Work some evenings and weekends
