Early Childhood Iowa Muscatine County (ECIMC) is seeking a Full Time Director
Early Childhood Iowa of Muscatine Countyis seeking applicants for the position of Director. The Director will work an average of 40 hours per week (flexible, year round) and reports to the ECIMC Board of Directors. Salary is dependent upon education and experience (est. $55,000-$57,000 annually.) Full time benefits through Central Iowa Juvenile Detention Center, IPERS, & PTO. Occasional evening/weekend work is required and you must be able to provide your own transportation. Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience required.
Work from home but must be local to the area.
Primary duties of the Director include managing all aspects of the Early Childhood Iowa grant to Muscatine County, financial oversight, support to partner programs, community liaison, facilitating the Preschool Scholarship program, and attending state/regional meetings related to ECI and services to young children and their families. This position also serves as the Early Education Facilitator for Aligned Impact Muscatine County. In this role, the duties are to convene and facilitate collaborative action teams around Kindergarten Readiness strategic priority areas.
