We are looking for a Director of Adult Day Services. The Director, provides administration and directs the daily operations over all aspects of the Adult Day Services within their assigned geographical area. With a focus on quality services and fiscal sustainability, this position is accountable for the day-to-day performance of programs and services as well as ongoing program development and adoption of best practices, in order to support The Arc of San Diego’s goal to advance our leading position in person-centered and self-directed care in the region.

Salary: $85,000- $100,000

A typical day will include:

• Maintaining licensing standards as a quality choice provider
• Assessing effectiveness of programs through service delivery and staff performance
• Managing the operational budget and funding
• Responding to and advising multiple oversight agencies on corrective and recommended actions
• Reviewing and supporting staffing and personnel decisions
• Engaging community partners and expanding awareness of programs

What you’ll need to be successful:

• A four (4) year Bachelor's degree in a human services-related field
• 3-5 years of experience in managing programs and services for adults with disabilities in a rehabilitation setting
• Strong applied experience with Titles 17 & 22
• Experience with instructional strategies and developing natural supports, including cutting edge techniques
• Valid CA Driver’s License with clean driving record; your own transportation to multiple work sites

We’d love it if you:

• Are a super user of electronic case management systems (Therap)
• Experience managing Adult Development and Senior Programs
• Knowledge of San Diego Regional Center (SDRC) referral and funding procedures
