Sodexo is seeking a Director of Facilities for Lincoln University, the nation’s first degree-granting Historically Black College and University (HBCU) and is located in Jefferson City, Missouri, near Columbia, MO. Services include full integrated facilities from plant operations, grounds, custodial services. Sodexo Dining also manages the Student Dining on campus.

Reporting directly to the Senior Area Manager, this Facilities Director will be responsible for managing a budget and a team of approximately 50 plus employee, overseeing Grounds, Custodial, and Facility services for 20 plus building.
The ideal candidate will have:
- A proven track record of successful Facilities Management leadership experience in a University setting or other high volume, complex accounts.
- Strong technical knowledge of the following: mechanical, electrical, plumbing, HVAC, structural, safety systems, architectural, landscape and energy management.
- Exceptional communication skills, and a strong understanding of contract management.
- Top level communication skills – developing partnerships with key Stakeholders/ Clients.
- Demonstrated business and financial acumen with a strong P&L understanding.
- Exceptional customer service, relationship building and communication skills.
- Strong Leadership skills with a focus on staff development and team building.
- Facility experience with historic or older buildings/properties.
- A bachelor’s degree in engineering or related fields is preferred.
