LOOKING FOR INDIVIDUALS FULLY TRAINED IN SCIP, AND CPR/FIRST AID/AED (Community Services programs) to qualify for the $25/hr. Must provide proof of training.

MUST BE AVAILABLE TO ATTEND ALL OTHER REQUIRED TRAININGS AT OUR TRAINING FACILITY IN WYNANTSKILL.

PER DIEM ONLY.

Vanderheyden is seeking Direct Support Professionals (DSP) for per diem weekend shifts in our Community Services (CS) programs(working with Adults) in Glens Falls, NY. Qualified candidates for this role will be required to work at least one Saturday or Sunday per week, must have and maintain valid SCIP and CPR certification, and remain up to date with any other required agency training including Fit for Duty physicals.

The Direct Support Professional is responsible for maintaining an environment of care that is safe & therapeutic, providing direct care to individuals per agency policy, implementing appropriate supervision according to daily schedules, dispensing medication per agency policy, and safely transporting individuals as assigned per level of supervision required.

Required Education, Knowledge and Skills:

• High school diploma or equivalent required; associate's degree preferred
• Valid NYS driver's license with clean driving record

• Valid SCIP certification
• Valid CPR, First Aid and AED certification
• Other required trainings
