Mount Angel Towers is looking for a full-time Dining Room Manager to join our experienced and dedicated team. The Dining Room Manager will play a critical role as they interact with residents, guests and employees. If you are someone with excellent customer service and critical thinking skills, we are looking for you!
Ideal Candidates will be able to:
- Organize the Dining Room staff to provide a restaurant-style dining experience for residents.
- Ensure the Dining Room is kept to a high standard of cleanliness.
- Ensure dining room supplies are stocked and tables are prepped for service.
- Hire new staff and train all wait staff in service standards.
- Schedule dining room staff so that all meals and events are sufficiently covered.
- Ensure compliance with all relevant laws, regulations, policies, and procedures.
- Coordinate staffing needed for special events or activities with the Activities Director.
- Report to Executive Director any resident or guest complaints or requests and make sure they are resolved promptly.
Minimum Qualifications:
- Ability to utilize Microsoft applications-Excel, Outlook, and Word.
- Excellent communication skills, both written and oral.
- At least 1-year of previous experience as a Dining Room Coordinator or Lead.
- Ability to work weekends and special events.
- Must pass the Oregon Division of Human Services Criminal Background Check and pre-employment drug screen.
