Digital Design Manager

The University of St. Thomas (www.stthom.edu), a private Catholic university, located in Houston,Texas, the nation's fourth largest city, committed to the liberal arts and to the religious and intellectual
tradition of Catholic higher education, is seeking a Digital Design Manager. The position reportsdirectly to the Assistant Vice President of Graduate Admissions and Program Marketing.

SUMMARY

The Digital Design Manager will be responsible for graphic design of all website, digital advertising and email marketing efforts for the University of St. Thomas.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Conceptualize and design collateral materials for University marketing efforts.
• Design advertising for Web and multimedia placement.
• Develop new creative and convert existing print collateral for the Web and other media.
• Create and manage digital library for online collateral.
• Create and maintain digital portfolio of graphic elements for the Web, such as icons, banners, images,
  templates.
• Manage templates, design and dissemination od mass marketing efforts through the university's CRM,
  Slate.

EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE QUALIFICATIONS:

• Undergraduate degree preferred.
• Minimum of 3 years of experience in digital design.
• Demonstrated effective oral and written communication skills combined with a high level of energy and the ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment.
• Established record of meeting and exceeding deadlines and operating with a sense of urgency.
• High level of knowledge in PhotoShop. Illustrator, Adobe Acrobat, Adobe InDesign, Dreamweaver and HTML coding (HTML, XHTML, CSS, Javascript).
• Thorough understanding of email marketing through template design and distribution.
• Print design knowledge a plus.
• Willingness to travel for training and conference attendance purposes.
• Some evening and weekend work may be necessary.
