Job description

The Food Service Worker at our company is responsible for setting up the dining area, cleaning and sanitizing the tables, and serving food in an accurate and correct manner. Other duties that a Food Service Worker at our company may be asked to clean dishware,prep food, fill out paper work, do inventory include monitoring lines and clearing tables. A Food Service Worker at our company communicates with students about the selection of food items and beverage choices, makes recommendations to meet the school food service guildline, and assists students in deciding on food items from the menu.

Responsibilities:

• Scan student IDs into the POS system.
• Clean prep area
• Safely use ovens, warmers and knives.
• Use good judgment when dealing with customers, visitors, co-workers, and vendors.
• Prepare and package food according to guildline.
• Have knowledge of the entire menu.
• Have knowledge about food meal patterns.
• Be able to explain meals to customers and coworkers.
• Store food in proper place, using FIFO
• Put away deliveries of food and dry goods

Job Type: Part-time

Pay: Up to $25.00 per hour

Schedule:

• 4 hour shift
• Monday to Friday
