Job description

We are a full-service vessel support terminal in Dutch Harbor, AK looking to add a diesel mechanic to our team to assist with the troubleshooting, repair and maintenance of our diesel generators, propane and electric forklifts as well as various vehicles and equipment around the facility. Duties include running diagnostic tests, analyzing results, completing necessary repairs, documenting and logging completed repairs as well as assisting with keeping the shop clean and maintained.

Required skills: Knowledge and experience in diesel and auto mechanics, physically fit and able to lift up to 75 pounds, proficient with maintenance and repair tools, good interpersonal skill, excellent verbal communication skills, basic computer skills and a willingness to work with a team. Applicant must be able to pass background check and pre-employment drug screening. TWIC card required.

Seasonal Work Schedules are mid-January through mid-April and mid-June through mid-September. Transportation to Dutch Harbor, AK and employee housing is provided.
