  • Project Manager Level III - User Lifecycle Support

The User Lifecycle Support Subject Matter Experts shall be responsible for the performance of the work associated with contract operations, specific to a Military Health System (MHS), Defense Health Agency (DHA) contract for IT related services, including user lifecycle support services.

User Integration Branch /User Lifecycle Support Section (UIB/ULSS) is seeking Project Management support to provide systems analysis and advocacy to UIB/ULSS, MTF, and Regional/Major medical commands with the purpose of successfully deploying and sustaining current/future DHA Health Information Technology (HIT) programs/systems.

These services include supporting large scale initiatives in accordance with business improvement and reengineering activities including organizational development and process modernization efforts supporting DHA initiatives. The Component Services shall provide support that contributes to the efficient and effective operation of the contract.

The purpose of the contract is to support integrating Health Information Technology (HIT) activities with clinical workflows, as well as address the service-unique dynamics of the Army, Air Force, and Navy with the aim of improving the delivery of patient care operations. ULSS supports DHA customers and the Military Treatment Facilities (MTFs) through incident management, engagement, escalation, and information management, as it relates to Component Service’s unique requirements.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree in IT, IS or related field and five (5) years of related experience.
  • Minimum two (2) years of experience in military medicine, battlefield, and clinical environments.
  • Minimum three (3) years of experience in life cycle development of military e- Health projects.
  • Requires an understanding of the MHS electronic health record systems, including expertise in project management for MHS and DHA clinical systems.
  • Possess the skill/ability to explain software features, benefits and intricacies to a variety of health care personnel: technicians, medical assistants, nurses, healthcare specialists, and physicians.
  • PMP certifications and clinical informatics certifications highly desired.
  • ITILv3 certification highly desired

  • This is a full-time contract position with benefits.
  • Work shall be performed remotely.
  • Travel may be required as necessary and will need prior management approval. All necessary travel expenses are reimbursable via GSA standards.
