SUMMARY
Covenant Health, Inc. is seeking an experienced Desktop Engineer to join the Information Technology team. The Desktop Engineer is responsible for the development, maintenance, support, and growth of an enterprise endpoint management and computer deployment platform. The Desktop Engineer facilitates collaboration between the Client Technology, IT Infrastructure, Information Security, and Enterprise Architecture teams, and is crucial for ensuring the success of endpoint device, Windows desktop, and application service delivery throughout the enterprise.
This position can be located at any of Covenant's three acute locations: St. Joseph Hospital- Nashua, NH, St. Mary's Health System-Lewiston, ME, or St. Joseph Healthcare- Bangor, ME.
JOB REQUIREMENTS
Education:
- Associate's Degree Required. Bachelor's degree preferred
- 5-8 years related experience preferred.
Experience:
- Experience maintaining SCCM in a complex, distributed enterprise.
- Hands-on experience with patching, software packaging and delivery, customized inventory, and reporting with SSRS
- Experience creating and maintaining GPOs to support endpoint management in a large, complex, multi-site Active Directory.
- Experience supporting a hybrid environment that includes Windows operating systems installed on PCs, laptops, and delivered to thin clients by Citrix XenDesktop.
- Experience with managed application delivery, including installing applications with SCCM and GPO, as well as virtualized application delivery with Citrix XenApp and Unidesk.
- Problem identification, troubleshooting, and resolution of all systems related to endpoint service delivery.
- Experience creating and maintaining PowerShell scripts supporting Windows deployment and automation
- Experience configuring and maintaining MDT for Windows image build and deployment
- Must be able to understand, adapt, and maintain VBScript scripts for MDT.

- Must be able to maintain in-depth documentation and diagrams that allow others to understand systems defined by Architecture and Engineering staff.
