Erdman Anthony, a nationally recognized, award-winning engineering firm known for complex, high-profile engineering projects, is seeking a design engineer with experience working in a collaborative team environment in our Rochester, NY office. The right person will be responsible for multifaceted engineering design tasks, project delivery, and interacting with clients and public agencies.

Qualifications

• Candidates shall possess a BS degree in civil engineering; advanced degree preferred
• New York State professional registration is required
• 1-5 years of progressive technical experience and diversified knowledge preferred, but entry level candidates will be considered
• Prior experience in consulting engineering or construction environment
• Experience with AutoCAD, MicroStation, InRoads preferred
• Ability to manage and take responsibility of technical work content
• Proficient with planning, scheduling, cost estimating, conducting, and coordinating detailed phases of engineering projects
• Proficient verbal and written communication skills, including proposal and report writing
• Confident when presenting information and responding to questions from internal and external audiences
• Team player with excellent interpersonal skills
• Positive, energetic, and cooperative with customers and internal staff
