Culver Franchising System, LLC is looking for a Design Coordinator - Kitchen Equipment to support Franchisees and the Design & Construction Services team members in all areas of restaurant kitchen designs and interior restaurant layouts.Responsibilities include:
- Assist in developing equipment design and layout solutions for new construction and remodels of existing Culver's restaurants
- Work closely with Design Services, Purchasing, and Operations teams to coordinate the inclusion of equipment requirements and layouts into building designs
- Coordinate and update equipment specification sheets for new prototypical plans and reimage drawings
- Advise franchisees in the equipment selection process and assist them in obtaining prices and placing orders; utilize the development of equipment plans for pricing and concept approvals
- Communicate requirements of all equipment selected by Purchasing to Design Services for implementation into building plans
- Provide assistance by updating, revising, and implementing Culver’s AutoCAD drawing standards and procedures of kitchen equipment
- Review construction documents to ensure Culver’s standards are met
- Maintain detailed equipment information for all contractors, architects, and engineers
- Actively strive to learn and apply more efficient processes for AutoCAD use and beyond
- Two-year college or university degree in Architectural Technology or related field
- Two years related experience; or equivalent combination of education and experience
- Working knowledge of construction and building codes
- Proficient in AutoCAD and Revit editions
- Knowledge of Microsoft Office products and computer trends/technology
- Building construction and equipment knowledge and aptitude preferred
- Knowledge of kitchen equipment, including stainless steel and millwork fabrication preferred
