Job Title: Design and Sales Consultant

Reports to: General Manager/Sales Manager

Summary: California Closets is looking for a Design Consultant with a passion for sales and customer service. Our Design Consultants will be self-motivated, direct-sales orientated individuals able to deliver a superb, interactive in-home or virtual customer experience.

Qualifications:

• Retail sales experience is a plus
• Interior design education, direct industry experience is a plus but not required
• Advance knowledge of working with basic computer software programs is required

Duties and Responsibilities:

• Confident, warm and friendly
• Meet virtually or in person for design consultations and needs assessments
• Personal vehicle required. Commute may include outlying areas
• Ability to work autonomously to meet deadlines and sales goals
• Attendance at monthly sales meetings required
• Strong project management skills. Seeing sale through to completion/installation
• Pursue referrals and repeat business
• Confidently be able to sell and promote a high end product
• Team player with the ability to manage a portfolio of projects of varying complexity in a dynamic environment

Additional Considerations:

• Flexible work schedule; must be able to work in local showroom based on a schedule set by management
• Salary provided for duration of training. Transitioning to full commission upon completion of training period.
• Leads provided by the company with additional incentives for self-generated business
• Generous compensation package. Performance based bonus schedule. Medical/Dental/Vision after 60 days, 401k on day one
• iPhone and iPad and laptop provided by company.

Job Types: Full-time, Commission

Pay: $60,000.00 - $150,000.00 per year
