The Job

As Deployment Lead at GeekPlus, you’ll be the primary point of contact with our partners and clients who range from Startups to Fortune 500 players. You’ll interact regularly to maintain a strong communication with the clients and understand well their needs. You’ll team with an Applications and Robotic Engineers to understand all the details of the system configuration and site dynamics. You’ll work with internal and external resources to coordinate all aspects of a Robotic Systems deployment at a customer site. Responsibilities:

• Fully understand design and scope of work through internal handover sessions with the solution team and project manager.
• Conduct onsite implementation project planning including scope of work, budget, schedule, and subcontracting services and merge with the master project plan.
• Proven track records of successfully managing onsite implementations on budget and on time and at quality
• Hands-on ability to handle or give vendor guidance to finish site installation requests according to instructions.
• Kick off implementation with Client & Vendor(s) to align expectations
• Manage supply chain and logistics receiving during onsite. Verify the shipment with Client and have Client sign the delivery note.
• Assist Deployment Team Manager to scope the installation and determine outsourced effort
• Manage Client & Vendors to complete implementation on-time and on-budget and update actual expenses on Budget Tracking Sheet provided by Project Manager
• Prepare hardware environment for SIT, UAT and Performance Testing and participate in testing
• Train the client maintenance team
• Develop strong customer relationship
• Prepare for weekly implementation progress report for project team and customer’s record
• Close the implementation upon the closing checklist

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s Degree in Mechanical Engineering, Industrial Engineering, or related discipline
• Experience of warehouse operation/ logistic functions/3PL industry with hands-on onsite leadership experience is preferred.
• Ability to manage site implementation across teams including client's operations & IT teams, Geekplus deployment team and various site contractors
• AutoCAD 2D layout proficiency is highly preferred
• Good command of spoken and written English,
• Online collaboration tools proficiency is required
• MS office suite proficiency is required
• MS Project proficiency is a plus
• Travel-friendly (Estimate 75%)
• Promotive altitudes towards projects and leadership skills.
• Willing to learn and have attention to details
