Under general supervision of the Dentist, the Dental Hygienist will support dental care delivery by preparing treatment room, patient, instruments, and materials; Record keeping including periodontal charting, existing dentition and conditions, treatment plan as determined by the dentist and clinical notes of treatment rendered by the Dental Hygienist. Dental Hygienist will be involved in the periodontal health, maintenance, and education of the patient by performing procedures in compliance with the dental practice act.
Requirements
- Current SC State License.
- 1 year of experience required.
- Skilled in scaling and root planning.
- Proficient in use of an ultrasound scaler.
- Certified in SC to do X-rays.
- Dependable transportation.
