Smile North Carolina, a school-based mobile dental practice, is seeking a Dental Assistant Team Lead in Charlotte, NC and surrounding areas to help provide dental care to underserved children at their school.
Our innovative in school dental program offers something different than a traditional dental practice. With a workday that ends with the school day and no nights or weekends, our program is perfect for people looking for a diverse and different working environment, working parents and anyone who wants to make a difference in the dental field.

- X-ray License
- Coronal Polishing (preferred, not required)
- CPR certified
- Working experience as a Dental Assistant
- Digital X-ray Imaging experience
- Valid driver license
- Works well with children
- Team player and able to work on a small team
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs
Team Lead Requirements/Responsibilities:
- Responsible for driving company vehicle
- Must be willing to travel daily
- Ability to meet deadlines and arrive on-time each day
- Reliable, organized, punctual
- Computer skills – Microsoft office applications
- Great people skills - ability to communicate with Adults & Children
- Must have valid drivers license, clean driving record
- Order supplies, sterilizing instruments, spore testing
- Responsible for back office duties
- Keep van & equipment in good condition
Smile North Carolina Offers:
Evenings, weekends and summers off!- Working a school day schedule (about 6 – 7 hours); on average between 8:00 A.M. – 3:00 P.M.
