Description: Betts Truck Parts & Service is currently looking to hire a Delivery Driver for our Fresno location! Our drivers provide a face-to-face delivery service to our customers and perform warehousing activities. In this fast-paced role, the Delivery Driver will drive trucks over established routes to deliver and sell products or render services, and collect money from customers.
Betts is a family-owned company in business for over 150 years. We specialize in parts and service work for suspensions, brakes, wheel ends, and more on a variety of vehicles. We currently operate 8 locations on the west coast and offer competitive compensation packages, benefits, vacation time, and paid holidays. The Fresno branch is open Monday through Friday 7:30 am - 5:00 pm.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities*

• Driving company vehicle to deliver parts to customer's place of business. Check the load prior to leaving for a delivery route. Obtain the signature of the customer when parts are delivered and collect payment if necessary.
• Maintain a delivery record of sales and parts delivered.
• Maintain company vehicle to standards, including cleaning, inspecting, and completing the appropriate paperwork for repairs.
• Follows operational procedures for activities such as verification of incoming and outgoing shipments, handling and disposition of materials, and keeping warehouse inventory current.
• Checks in and unloads all receiving from incoming trucks, including UPS, and completes appropriate paperwork.
• Place stock on shelves, racks, or other appropriate designated locations.
• Fills customer orders for delivery, will call or shipment.
• Maintains warehouse in a neat and orderly fashion keeping inventory in proper bin locations.
• Inspects the physical condition of the warehouse and equipment.
• Confers with department manager to ensure coordination of warehouse activities with activities of other functions such as sales and deliveries.
• Directs salvage of damaged or used material, including cores.
• Inspect all cores coming in from deliveries, making sure they are acceptable. Prepares core returns in accordance with current standards.
• Enters bin location on a product that comes in without current bin location.
• Complete daily cycle counts.
• Process negative inventory reports and corrections as needed.
• Assist or load vehicles for deliveries.
• Complete appropriate paperwork associated with all warehouse transactions.

Requirements:

• Valid Driver's License
• No motor vehicle violations in the last 24 months
• Must be able to pass a pre-employment drug screen
• Must be able to pass non-DOT physical
• Ability to lift up to 100 lbs
