The Green Leaf Pet Resort offers the very best in boarding, doggie daycare, indoor swimming, grooming and training. The Green Leaf Pet Resort currently has openings for Dog Daycare Attendants.

Dog Daycare Attendants are responsible for supervising play between dogs and maintaining a clean work area. Prior pet care experience is required. Perspective attendants should have a high tolerance for barking and be able to handle both small and large dogs, of all breeds. Our facility is open year-round, so applicants should be available to work weekends and holidays. We are looking for a committed, long-term, flexible applicants.

Dog Daycare Attendants are responsible for:

• Supervising dogs during playtime and managing their behavior
• Maintaining clean play areas and equipment (indoor and outdoor)
• Escorting dogs to and from daycare and on occasion to and from clients
• Picking up pet waste

Eligible candidate MUST LOVE DOGS and be:

• Confident working with dogs of all breeds, sizes and temperaments,
• Capable of managing a pack of dogs,
• Aware of dog behavior, and able to read dog body language, and ensure the dogs' safety at all times,
• Able to provide top-notch care to each of our guests of varying breeds and sizes
• A team player who is motivated to maintain the highest standard of cleanliness within the facility
• Enjoy interacting with clients in a courteous and friendly manner,
• Able to walk and stand for extended periods of time and lift up to 30lbs
• Open to working at least (1) weekend day per week (Saturday or Sunday)
• Enthusiastic, Hard Working, Reliable

Did we mention, be patient, punctual, responsible and have a team-player attitude?

Must have:

• Valid driver’s license and/or reliable transportation
• Current tetanus vaccination required - documentation required upon new hire orientation
• Prior experience in the pet care industry,
• High school diploma or equivalent (Required)
