POSITION DESCRIPTION:

The Data Processor position effectively manages accounting accuracy, unit processing and personnel development in support of the dealership. This position is located in Lewisville, TX. We prefer candidates from the local area as this is not a remote opportunity.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES AND PERFORMANCE MEASURES:

• Data entry competency
• Review all invoices for appropriate documentation and approval prior to payment
• Process 3 way P.O. matching invoices, up to 100 plus line items
• Prioritize invoices according to cash discount potential and payment terms
• Audit and process credit card bills
• Match invoices to checks, obtain all signatures for checks and distribute checks accordingly
• 1099 maintenance
• Maintain files and documentation thoroughly and accurately, in accordance with company policy and accepted accounting practices
• Assist with other projects as needed

REQUIRED SKILLS

• High school degree required
• Data Entry Skills
• Some accounting experience, general ledger, or account reconciliation experience (2-3 years of experience in an accounting department environment ideal)
• Proficient in Microsoft Excel, Word and accounting packages is desirable
• Experience with the ADP/CDK dealership accounting is desirable
• Attention to Detail, Thoroughness
• Research and Analysis Skills
• Limited Travel may be required.

Pay: $19.00 - $21.50 per hour
