JOB SUMMARY:

The Data Implementation Analyst is responsible for performing data conversion activities, importing data and utilizing the production engine for specialized log types from the start of an implementation to completion under the guidance and direction of the Data Implementation Manager. This process includes the initial review and approval of client based data for evaluation of critical data values, validation and analysis of data and the coordination of implementation events with the Data Implementation Manager.

DEGREE OF SUPERVISION:

This position reports to the Manager, Data Implementation and requires minimal degree of supervision to ensure tasks are appropriately prioritized.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Reviews and analyzes data layouts received from third parties
  • Performs dynamic mapping of incoming data to CVBC data tables
  • Creates data crosswalks as needed
  • Analyzes data, data sources and creates profiles
  • Creates low-mid level custom functions as needed for dynamic mapping
  • Conducts testing, report card review and analysis
  • Performs low-mid level querying utilizing SQL
  • Troubleshoots issues
  • Loads files and conducts post load review
  • Processes EDAs
  • Builds and posts reports
  • Interacts with developers for special coding requests
  • Works with external vendors and clients, as well as internal departments as needed to review and resolve data issues
  • Daily review of assigned implementation logs for action and timely documentation/status updates
  • Performs project transition preparation
  • All other job related duties as it relates to the job function or as delegated by the management team

  • Knowledge of relational databases and Microsoft Office products
  • Strong written, verbal, analytical and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously
  • Ability to communicate technical information to non-technical business units
  • SQL experience a plus

EDUCATION / EXPERIENCE

Include minimum education, technical training, and/or experience required to perform the job.

  • High school diploma; College degree preferred
