A courthouse in Pensacola is seeking a full-time data entry operator. This is a wonderful opportunity for someone with clerical experience looking to join and grow within the organization
What you’ll be doing to make an impact:
- Doing routine clerical work in an office setting keying, verifying, and retrieving data from source documents.
- Operating a personal computer. Duties involve typing, verifying, and/or keying information from a variety of source documents into computer accepted formats using a personal computer.
- Work is performed under the general supervision of a higher-level technical employee and is reviewed periodically while in progress and upon completion for conformance with instructions and written procedures.
What you’ll bring to the table:
- Prior law office experience (legal secretary, paralegal, etc, however, this position is data processing legal documents and does not have attorney or client contact.
- Able to write professionally using proper spelling, grammar and punctuation; manage time and prioritize workload issues; and operate a computer and basic computer software.
- Able to effectively communicate, verbally and in writing with staff; manage time and workload issues in order to complete all assignments and deadlines within the allotted time frames.
- Able to maintain an orderly office environment and provide excellent customer services and always be a team player.
- Graduation from high school and one year experience in data entry, or equivalent combination of training and experience. An equivalency diploma issued by a state department of education may be substituted for high school graduation.
