Job Type: Full-time
Pay: From $17.00 per hour
Job Description: Seeking applicants for a Clerk in the Support Services Department. Our Call Center is offering positions for 2nd shift, 3rd shift, as well as Weekend Shifts! This position is ideal for candidates with high attention to detail. Universal has several proprietary systems put in place to increase the efficiencies and reduce training time. Support Services Clerk’s quickly learn about different aspects of the company and are encouraged to apply for other internal roles as they become available. We promote from within!
Primary Responsibilities will include:
- Gathering information from Carriers/Drivers via Phone, email
- Inputting information into the system to update other Universal representatives
- Notifying other Universal representatives of potential issues regarding the shipment
- Relay information to drivers/dispatchers regarding their shipment
Requirements:
- High School Diploma required
- 18 years of age or older
- Strong communication skills
- Proficient computer skills
